The way I look at it metric is king.

    Newton meters, pound feet.

My work is done...a little prep and a couple coats of paint and it'll look like it was never replaced. That's a job for someone else. Being a historic district, everything replaced had to match original.

    :ohsnap:

Also on the tundra front, I just test drove a '14 double cab, had 167k on it but was smooth as butter. They wanted 20k for it though... a bit high for that many miles I think.

Yes, but it does get the smaller truck there in style.

The 4.6 V8 replaced the 4.0 V6 as the base engine several years ago. The 4.6 and 5.7 V8s are a modular design. They share a bunch of DNA. The stroke is the only significant difference.

The quickest way to tell what engine a Tundra has is to look at the side emblems on the doors. 5.7s will have the badge. 4.6s will not.

It's a solid engine. 310 hp and 325 ft lbs of torque

Interesting, it felt pretty numb on the drive. Whack the throttle and it doesn't make much noise or go anywhere for a little while. They claim 6800 tow capacity though which I really like. Just gotta find one for less than 20k I guess.

edit: quickest way for me was to just open the hood
