I’m in no rush. I’m also waiting on parts for my lift. How much are you wanting? Feel free to PM me if you want.

Alright.... So what gives?! I've seen SOOO many tacos out here in ID! SO MANY! Tacos, LCs, T100s, 1st gen tundras... Some really built, some modest builds... most seem loved. How come so few on TW??

Too busy living it instead of talking on internets maybe? Not aware of it?

For the record I use to at least help with mods on my old truck but I don't have any truck peeps in my life now to do mods but I do everything I'm capable of myself:notsure::laugh:

I find myself in a similar boat. Did all the work on my 02 BMW before I got smart and sold it. Always did my own oil changes, rotations.. Now I don't have the space to work :( I don't have access to the tools I once did either. Oh well.. Maybe one day the housing prices will "normalize" and we can get me that space back.

That’s how I did all the repairs on my BMW… had to order a few “special” tools that only BMWs use to get some jobs done but I YouTubed everything!! Saved myself some serious coin on labor… still cost 2 arms and a leg for parts.

Yeah, I did the majority of my ac blower and resistor work. I did have my brother come look after I replaced the resistor cause it still didn't work in case I messed something up but ended up needing the actually blower motor so I did that too and saved a few hundred bucks at least!

Just enough to look kinda cool.
How’s everyone’s weekend been, I put my two weeks in Wednesday and interviewed over in Blackfoot. So looks like I’ll be moving over there… now to just fine a decent place to stay.

Busy! Finally crossed the last things off the list in the new place, it feels a lot more like home now.

    Congrats on pulling the trigger!

I tore into the new to me Moto Guzzi, valves were way out of spec, put a tail tidy on, and removed the evap cannister. Put an exhaust on the KTM so it sounds nice and brapppy now. Work's been crazy but that's covid/delta with an largely unvaccinated population but c'est la vie.

I keep looking at new Tacos and cant decide between that, a Tundra, or something bigger F350 for perhaps a nice truck camper. But then I debate that or a nice 4x4 adventure/camper van like a ford transit 4x4 with the 3.5L turbo. Hmmmm.

Anyone out trying to poke an elk? I've not heard a peep out of them yet but I'm on tracks and rubs. Walked up on a bedded bull at 30yds and seen a few calfs but that's it.

My husband is. They were responding where he's at, but they had quite a bit of pressure this last weekend and went quiet. He's hoping with the storm rolling through this weekend it will stir them up.

I got my 20 year old OEM suspension replaced by John from Boise 4X4. Icon Stage 1, AAL, UCA, diff drop. Also replaced my cracking 12 year old tires with K02's. Works great for what I use the truck for. John did great work.

The colder weather today/tomorrow makes me excited for the seat warmers that get installed tomorrow!

Hoping to get some SS3s before snow season too.

Anyone buy tires from Commercial Tire before? I always use Discount Tire for the alignment/rotation bonus and the fact that they're everywhere... But I do see quite a lot of them Commercial trucks running around town.

Ahh that's what I meant. Sounds how I thought!

DT is too good when it comes to that kinda stuff, plus they work so often/well with manufacturer warranties/rebates that it's effortless to get money off the top if/when you need.
