Just a standard gas-fired residential water heater. Forgive my casual use of the word "boiler".

But really, what do you do? And do you cover the Longmont area?

Gonna probably need some house repair stuff done that I might not be able to get to before winter.

I hired a contractor my realtor recommended and he no call no showed yesterday and today for some work that needed to be done by tomorrow.

I can't say I'm very happy but I guess I am lucky to have the ability to take the afternoon off, finish the work myself, and get some sun. Beer helps too.

I feel like it's a requirement for residential contractors to not have any ability to communicate or be on time/schedule. We, however, tell you it's going to take forever for product to show up or subs to be available. Heh.

That Covid premium hitting every industry. Cabinets went from 6 to 12 weeks, plumbing went from next week to 8-10, FUCK, custom furniture was 2-3 months, now it's averaging 9 months or more D:

I think he took the money for the work on Weds (I agreed to pay incrementally) and went out and partied all night and was too hungover to show up.

I googled his # and apparently he's changed his business name a few times for that behavior of not showing up after starting the work. That's on me for not doing more due diligence cuz he was recommended to me and I mistook it.

Unfortunate for the people who hired him for a remodel and had him disappear

Probably should have gone with the contractor who quoted double time even though that was BS. Someone who give a "fuck you" price quote is probably overqualified, right?

Anyone have a damaged sheet of 3/4" plywood they want to get a few bucks for?

I'd be cutting off the corners, so it doesn't need to be perfect.

    Essentially here's my cut plan.
