The wagons came with larger brakes than the sedans.
It actually stops fairly confidently, they are manual brakes no power booster.

 

I seen a older Ford pickup truck as I was leaving work today. I should have and even thought about circling the parking lot for a picture. If I see it again I will. It was blue and white and from what glimpse of it was thinking what they called a high boy.

 

Car has 53,000 miles, still has the sheet metal nuts used to hold the rear drums on the assembly line.

 

Test fit the deer skinning pole on the new truck and dropped it and the rear rack off where we hunt, just in case

Baby girl went with us, she couldn’t keep her eyes open. The new cat was tired too.

My dad has a couple of these hanging up from where we used them when I was young. We have a full paper quart a customer gave us that’s in the store.

 

Looks like Black Betty carries the added weight pretty well.
I like how my truck rides so much better with those add a leaves in there. Bouncing off that overload every bump in the road was annoying.

 

Still got her, she is getting old though.

ah ok, i thought something might have happened to her since you havent posted pic of her in a bit.

 

I got this one from grandfather's garage after he passed away. I may still have a quart of Mobil one in a paper can. It may have been tin though if some of them were tin. He had case or two of can oil like that. Not mobil 1 but something like Gulf Oil or something

 

I think the one we have is Quaker state. It has a tin lid and bottom. If I remember I’ll get a pic tomorrow.

12, she’s slowed down a lot the last year. Lays around more than ever.

 

She's got a while left..my 4 that have passed on were 17, 17, 20, 23
