Yes, but the price may not make it worth it. If you think you may want them, I would do that from the start. Rebuild and adding adjusters can cost about the same as a new set of shocks.

Just ordered/working with Accutune on a complete "New" set of FOX 2.5 C/O with DSC and 14"650lb Eibach coils (to address the added weight from topper full size spare, bumpers winch etc.) with 2.5 DSC at the rear , re-valved and tuned. this will replace my current FOX 2.5 W/O DSC 13' 600lbs Eibach and smoothie with resi rear I currently have.

After some great help from the folks at AccuTune and additional input from Wheelers and 4WP I am going to stick with the Bilstein 6112/5160s. Super thankful for the help from all these stores. Forever jealous of the Fox boys! Perhaps once this beast is paid off and I need to replace the Bilsteins!

Has anyone used different res mounts for the fronts? just took mine off yesterday to swap springs and my mounts bent putting them back in due to the lack of flexibility in the hose. ADS or King mounts look different than Fox.

    Stock-ish
Just did limit straps the other day, and wow it feels so much better dropping off of stuff without the shock slamming fully extended. Also, how do you like your rear air bumbs? I have superbumps right now, and sit basically stock height so constantly bouncing off of them lol. I feel like air bumps would be a world of difference instead of the bouncy/rubbery feel the rear has right now.

Looks nice! Did you have to do a cab mount chop to fit those tires?

    Thanks!

And yes indeed, cab mount chop, weld, and paint.

    Very happy with the results.

Anybody have some pics of 2.0 rears with some weight back there? Checking to see who’s put the 2.0’s to the test and making sure I won’t regret going 2.5 in the rear.

I don’t, as of yet, hopefully someone else here may.

Are you going to be replacing the leaf as well? The real difference in the weight and sagging is going to be in your leaf pack.

As soon as my bed rack comes in from CaliRaised LED next week, I will be loading up an RTT and putting some weight back there. I’ll take some pictures with it loaded up and with people in the RTT if you wish.

Yeah, I went through accutune and am going 2.5 fronts, Icon rxt pack, and 2.0 rears (both adjustable) so I’m sure I’ll be fine since my tent comes on and off and my bed rack is aluminum. I just can’t help but think in the future my setup my get heavier, so I was just curious how other people run the 2.0’s weight-wise. Don’t want to go overkill since I’m just over landing, not desert mobbing! Would love to see pics of your setup when it’s up and running!

    list is growing fast
I did 60k miles of 2.0’s and weight, giving em hell in the desert. 2.5’s are way better now.

    All of them.
Trailer was around 3k lbs. The add the shell, steel bumper +swing out. 35" spare. My shits heavy. But shocks only dampen your ride. The springs hold the weight 20210822_190701.jpg

Yeah, not sure if I should just bite the bullet. I just don’t know if I’ll beat them up that bad to be honest. Just wanted to see what the general consensus is. Good to hear you got a lot of miles on em. Having both of them, can you sum up your differences between them?

For sure. What spring did you switch out for? That’s definitely heavy! They’re holding up well? No 2.5 regrets?

Hell yeah. I honestly just wanted to see some people putting them to the test and see if they’re still happy with the 2.0’s. Seems like you’re all good with them!!

2.0 Fox with resis and all pro expedition leafs. 1st two pics are 1700lbs loaded. I could barely tell I was even loaded. Last pic is with my 650lb atv and few hundred pounds in the cab. Doesn't fade the shocks or leafs at all.
