Convergent zero at 200 yards or something? I don’t have a boresight but could probably help you get that sighted.

 

you cant unless you have NVG, mono or binos, its a IR laser. its easier just to zero it with NVG on, and both IR and boresight on. takes a few mins.

Wanting to go to Angorra lake this week and do some cliff jumping. Saw that it was closed off up till the 6th. Anyone know someone whos been since? Can't find anything saying its still closed but also nothing saying they are 100% open again. Anyone know? Worst case I just head out there and if it is closed pretty sure emerald pools isnt too far from there.

 

I heard that anything on forestry land will be closed through the17th.

 

@cartter469, it's still closed because of the Caldor fire. Soonest it'll reopen is the 17th I believe. All NFS land in CA is currently closed.

 

Angora is still about 1.5-2 hours from emerald pools

 

I have the laying around if anyone needs/wants them.

Anyone have experience with Wildpeak tires in northern Nevada rocky dirt trails and Sierra snow?

Looking at the A/T3W or the RubiTrek A/T tires from them.

 

I ran cooper at3s when I was stationed in the PNW, did great in snow and all kind of terrain. I have a set of mickey thompsons now, great tires with 50k warranty as well and made in USA

 

I ran Cooper at3s on my 08 and then switched to wildpeak at3w and noticed a huge improvement in road noise and drive quality.
Switch to now and I have a 20 with wild peaks. Only had one season in the snow and had to learn the traction control up to Rose but they are pretty good.
Three flats over the years on the Coopers and no flats on the wild peaks yet but not enough miles to be apples to apples. Snow was good on the the Coopers until about half life and then I couldn’t wait to get a new set. Will see if that is the same with the Falkens (I suspect it will be).

 

FS: $600 OBO. Cali Raised Step Edition Rock Sliders. Fit 2005 and newer DCSB Tacoma’s. Previous buyer wasn’t able to make the trip to pick them up, so they are back up for sale for the weekend. Truck goes into the dealer for a trade Tuesday morning.

hey reno dudes, so , I listed my wheels/tires setup, and wanted to reach out locally to see who would be interested in swapping for your 265/70/17 tires for my 285/70/17s they are in good shape, less than 10k on them all, I also have a brand new skinny 33 I never mounted on my spare. Id like to go back to 265s since I will start commuting again for all my medical stuff, and I don't feel Like dropping 1300 on new tires.
