Oh yeah. Swollen up like a cartoon balloon glove. We went back to give him a "hand", but he wanted nothing to do with us. I am pretty sure he was a drug mule.

Thought I would share this. A local guy, in Southeast Virginia, has a brand new non-scoop 2021 Quicksand hood on facebook for $150. He told me he would take $120 for it. A deal for somebody.

$120??? If it were in my paint color I'd buy it and throw it the garage for "just-in-cases."

If it was a 2nd gen I would have bought it regardless of color just for a spare. Won't fiy my 2008 or 2012. That is a steal. Removed day 1 to install a Sport hood.

I'm wanting to run a Bluetooth OBD2 sensor on a spare android phone. Anyone have an recommendations for an all the time scanner to Bluetooth to the phone?

As far as the reader apps are concerned, it seems like obd fusion is the best bet.

Replaced my factory speakers with OEM Audio speaker upgrade kit. 1000% difference, one of my favorite upgrades so far. Install was a breeze especially with the plug and play design that hooks straight into factory connections, did all speakers and Tweeter upgrades in a hour and a half. Quality sound has a option to add a amp, may do later on but it doesn't really need it in my opinion. Would highly recommend to anyone still running stocks. Only bad part is they are on back order but well worth the wait.

I also scheduled an install of the Rostra ComfortHeat heated front seat warmers for the taco. This was a "must have" for the wife and I wasn't able to get them heated from factory. Instead of shelling out the $$$ for Clazios or other full seat replacements at the moment this seemed like a better alternative. The wife's even paying for half :p

They'll be installed from the Toyota dealership locally for $500 total, and we will see how they fare! They come with a 3 yr/36K mile warranty and if they last any longer than that I figure it's a bonus. They work with the cloth seats as is and I'll go full seat replacement once these go.

Thoughts and prayers go out to all of the families that lost loved ones 20 years ago today. I personally lost my brother in law and his brother that were on the 104th and 105th floor of the north world trade center tower. I'm sure there are others here that knew someone that passed that day or at least knew someone that knew someone that passed. I also want to thank all of the fire fighters, police officers, rescue personnel, medical personnel, etc... that work to serve and protect us on a daily basis.
    NEVER FORGET
