Now to be fair, my truck is on 35s and I've got a high clearance front which puts the lights up way higher than factory.

So to guesstimate the height difference between stock,

The bumper moves them at least 3 inches higher, now add 35s and a 3 inch lift, let's just go with 5 inches higher than factory.

So you posted a light that isn't a fog in a thread specifically asking for fogs. And when confronted with the fact they are not fogs your response is I don't use them with traffic like a fog. Instead you compare the light you are calling a fog to high beams, meaning they are completely irrelevant to the conversation. They are off road only lights.

And yes, I see plenty of people run their Baja Squadrons on the street full time blinding everyone else on the road, largely due to people providing misleading information on forums that these products are "like fogs" and Baja's history of promoting their illegal lighting products as "street friendly". You might turn your off road lights off whenever there is an oncoming vehicle, but most people asking about fogs are going to leave them on, because that is how you are supposed to be able to use a foglight. It is important to educate people on lights and not just blindly tell them to get an offroad light and run it on the street like a fog as a safe practice causing significant danger to other motorists.

I just told him he could have 3 years of not worrying about it rather than 1 year. I find that to be very helpful with bulbs.

I could take a picture of my Diode Dynamics fogs at night but I don't think that's necessary. There's plenty of pictures of them everywhere and they're not amher/yellow.

I have the yellow Laminex covers on mine. Looks really good on a white Taco and they peel right off if I ever want to change the look of the front end.

I have yellow Laminex stickers on my stock fogs right now and Baja Designs Squadron SAE amber in the mail with my new bumper.

I prefer the amber or yellow. It gives you more contrast on the ground in the snow and dust. I also have light sensitivity at night which is super unfortunate but the yellow/amber help with that.

Are there any amber/yellow replacement bulbs for stock LED fogs? Preferably ones that keep the shape of the pattern. Maybe the bulb is not replaceable, too tightly integrated?

Correct, but when I used to live across the pond some cars headlights were yellow from the factory. Depending of where you live, if high humidity was present then visibility could be affected, not to mention dust, snow...

Leveled with Bilstein 5100 shocks, Kumho AT52 265/75 tires, Redline hood struts, R4T tailgate lock, Matt Gecko LED strips in bed and under hood, WeatherTech hood guard, OEM bed mat, Husky floor mats, Carhart seat covers, Grille replacement with Toyota letters, Sony AX6000 replacement head unit, OTT lite/mild tune, and an occasional splash of fuel additive.
I installed Caliraised Amber pods. I adjusted the pod mounting screw patterns on each side to gain more down angle and drive with them on full time. Winter, fog, snow are coming. Hoping for better visibility over stock.

The Max will not have heat issues, they are designed to run hot.

No, that isn’t how real LED light assemblies work. The LED and the assembly are one integrated unit, the LED emitters are not replaceable.

See the SAE thread with examples on why you should not run those. They are not fogs at all, they are very small spots that will not help in fog and no cut offs so they are blinding to oncoming drivers. Their amber units are also very low performing.

You went from a fog pattern:
    upload_2021-9-12_14-2-31.jpg

To an ultra low output spot pattern with using amber. (White shown)
    upload_2021-9-12_14-3-13.jpg

The purpose of a fog is to help find the edge of the roadway at low speed in poor weather. As you can see the CaliRaised product is about the worst possible thing you could run for that purpose.

Well there is that. But even China Alibaba sells actual fog pods, unlike Cali.

Love my Amber Baja Designs fog lights. For some reason I think they put out more useable light than the 30" Baja Design Light bar i have in my bumper.

I have the Cali raised as well. They worked really well for me in the snow. Also nice pulling into hunting spots with just them on.
