I heard you couldn’t hit the broadside of a barn from 5 yards.

I’d highly recommend Park City as well. Everything’s pretty pricey out there but well worth it. Good food, shopping, trails, entertainment. Not sure when you’re going but they usually have a big film festival out there every year.

My only caution is to watch out for the psychopaths on I-15 from ogden to Provo. They come in all shapes & sizes.

You’re right, it’s definitely overgrown. Used to be my favorite place 20ish years ago but now you can spend half the day waiting in lines or in traffic. I guess my advice is a little dated lol

My dad and I take our atv’s up mantua all the time since it’s so close. Haven’t made it all the way up to the top since last year though. You ever take your truck up there?

Back then it was probably quite the adventure. Now I just mainly go to hang out with my dad. Really need to find some less crowded trails though.

That’s a good idea. I've always wanted to go explore that direction. Plus it makes it so I can get my poker fix as well. Maybe swing by the dispensary lol

Can confirm. Totally missed a barn sized target at 1100 yards at my March match (in a 40mph crosswind).

Might be a little late for this, but if you’re going to hit the salt flats I suggest waiting until the 28th. Then you’ll be able to catch some racing at World Finals if it doesn’t get rained out.

Yes, but all it takes is one damp day to mess up a weekend. I was out at knolls a few days after the last rain and it was dicey getting across the lakebed to my race checkpoint in a couple places.

Hey guys, moving to American Fork from Los Angeles in the beginning of next month!! Looking forward to meeting up with some of you and going off roading up there :)

I have a 2001 Tacoma with super low miles! Just hit 73K!!
Just installed coastal off-road bumpers, Dual battery set up and Subaru WRX bucket seats! Also running kings and Cambergs upfront along with Devers and foxes in the rear… +2” bodylift. Still have to swap out my CV axles and lower ball joints along with sealing up my tub before moving up

In my opinion, WF is just late enough in the season that it gets dicey as far as what to expect weather-wise. Plus, it doesn’t take much water to turn the flats back into a lake. I will say though, from my experience, the wind does a nice job of relocating standing water out there.

That is pretty true we do generally get more rain around this time of year. So I guess it is going to be a wait and see
