Already have steel skid plates and runners. S/c of course, and a hidden winch bumper up front. In the bed, hi lift jack, full size spare. Future plans in back only going for Aluminum bed rack, and occasionally carrying a bed tent and recovery gear. I do offroading in CO, but nothing extreme

:notsure: My 2015 BMW hasn’t had warranty for like 3 years now and nothing has gone bad apart from a taillight thing but it was 60 bucks

lucky. is it a 3 series? Maybe the 105 degree plus heat in the summer here shortens the life span. lol

M3. Apart from crankhub s55 is somewhat reliable in my opinion. And yea 105 degree heat probably fucks with everything lol. But the whole selling a bmw thing after warranty I think applies to all German cars and or cars with a lot of tech

I debated getting a V10 tdi Touareg when one popped up locally but decided the car would probably give me a brain tumor. I wish Toyota/lexus would offer their LC/LX with no tech goods. The whole appeal of the car is that it lasts forever, no? Doesn’t help that their tech is already behind at release date.

Nothing wrong with a well built mid travel truck. They can be really capable of you dual shock the front. ;)

E46 M3 checking in. Heat has been my number one long term issue. Larger oil cooler helped a ton, old one had 90k miles on it and was pretty clogged. Vented hood is on my wish list

How’s his run? I did bigger twins on mine since I’ve heard single can be a pain to setup and get running

I guess I should also say that my M3 is base spec. I don’t even have a backup camera. Lol

His runs good and is his daily. He has done one of the crank mods(I think it is the hub and crank pulley as one) with the kit to lock the crank bolt into place. Not sure on boost. Maybe 20ish, (if I remember right). His setup is rated for more. "He is going easy for now"

All BMWs run hot. They do it for efficiency. that is why they have electronically controlled thermostats. (On most models)

Oh yeah, they run particularly hot. It's the one thing that always bothered me about them actually. Them and GM cars.
