I have a 2008 Toyota Tacoma prerunner. It’s on stock suspension and I want some nice wheels and tires on them but I don’t know what’s too big and what’s not too big. I attached a picture, these are the wheels and tires I like with the size. Will these fit on my stock Tacoma ?

    :sawzall:

I had -12mms Ultra wheels that required trimming with a lift just running 265’s. I Couldnt ever get them balanced correctly either. I finally just bought the Toyota SEMA wheels and the issue went Away.

Not my favorite type of wheel on these. Stick to a 15-18” max. If you want respect from TW go smaller wheel with more rubber

Yeah too wide for sure along with too much neg offset. Personally I’d never run anything bigger than an 18”

Minus 24mm offset, compared to positive 25mm stock is moving the wheel about 2 inches out. Plus going to wider tire by another inch or so is looking for further modifications most likely.
Also, after adding the beads on that wheel, it is 10-1/2" wide, essentially the same as the tire. Is that what your after?

I added another photo. Will those fit on stock height with little to no trimming ?

Honestly the deep dish look just isn’t my thing. If it were me I’d go with something narrower (wheel choice) and by doing so move toward a more positive offset meaning 0

It dosent seem like custom offsets offers a 0 offset wheel. It says that those deep dish fit my truck on stock height with no trimming

BTW, the specs for that tire limit the wheel width to 8.0" — 9.5" wide.

You could probably mount the tires, even drive......

Don’t let me or anyone else sway you. It’s purely an asthetics thing but the wider along with neg offset wheels can be more problematic- rubbing along with premature wear of wheel bearings. ive never had much luck with that website but there’s plenty out there that’ll fit your truck better. Are you open to a 17” wheel? I personally like more sidewall unless it’s a sports car.
try going to this website to get a visual on what you “had” and what you “want”.

17x8 0 offset 275/65/17 should be ok. Maybe a little trim and remove mud flaps. But not sure if that the look you’re going for. You could even go 265/70/17 due to having more choices.

Agreed 17” gives you the most options(incremental) in tire sizes. OP
I think the reason custom offset website doesn’t show you and option for 0 offset is because you probably have a filter set for 10” wide - I don’t think you’ll ever find a 18x10 with 0 offset
