It's a public space so it makes sense applying those rules and it must be an issue to want to add these new measures. Lot of people hang out in parking lots in the evenings. I'm sure there's a lot of drifting going on.

    63K

My locker locked this morning, with out giving me a dash light. Then would not unlock, even though it never did say it was locked.

So it stayed locked the entire trip, highway and all. :bananadead:

I think it is the actuator that may have pooped the bed as it locked. Will have to figure it out :cookiemonster:

Is the locker not manually actuated in your truck now? I don't know how the transfer case change affects that, someone please enlighten me

Nope locker is still same locker.

Just modded to anytime locker mod. Which was all checked and verified it worked.

I can hear and see (transparent relay) it engage. Then the actuator in the rear makes a noise, that is now different. Which is why we decided it was the actuator.

It always had a very distinct sound, when the locker engaged and disengaged. It now does not sound the same. :burp:

Just a guess, but I know my truck a bit

Since we're whipping our ducks out here...

    Current 99 4runner...240k
    Current 06 Rav4...235K
    Current 16 Taco....162k

Sidebar...was working in the driveway past week, find an end of a coil...flat end with rotted portion appx 70 degrees around, so about 3"...climbe underthe Taco and 4runner for inspection and comparison...nothing missing and the coil was too narrow compared to those buggies. This is in Brampton where the rav4 hasn't been for 6 weeks, and close to 2K kms traveled since. Got back to rav4 and climbed under, sure enuf the rear passenger coil separated from the hat. Took it for a drive again and wouldn't know there is a thing wrong. 235K...these springs owe me not.

Would you like to know how much that actuator costs if you were to hypothetically buy it from a Toyota dealer? :) https://parts.scarboroughtoyota.ca/p/52720498/4145035010.html
