    Nothing major yet.
I can’t really think of a midsize truck produced today that doesn’t share its engine with a large suv or minivan. And technically didn’t the sienna go to a 4 cylinder hybrid?

According to Google my truck beats my Honda Odyssey in 0-60 by an earth-shattering 0.3 seconds.

It was shared with the Lexus RX350, it was never shared with a minivan. But yeah, all manufacturers do that. Look at how many vehicles in the Ford lineup use the Ecoboost engines.

A sienna also has a higher payload capacity can seat 4 more people and is more comfortable.

I can't imagine being "annoyed" by what someone else decides to put on their truck.

Don't get me wrong, some peoples trucks on here look downright ugly *in my opinion*. Some look like they bolted on everything that they could find for less than $100 from AutoZone but "annoyed"? Wrong word. Especially the people who are annoyed by stuff like the "pro grille". Even one guy is apparently annoyed by Tonneau covers? Like wtf?

I will never knock a van. I love my van. I've had fat stacks of 4x8s in the back of that thing.

I have a knock off pro grill and switched out the tail lights on my sport with OEM pro tail lights. Not trying to pose as a pro when I know I'm an amateur. I just like the pro grill better and I can't stand the chrome tail lights.

    Raptor lights are silly.

I laugh at "salt life" decals. It's more like "road salt life" in NE Ohio. And if you're a guy with a salt life decal you might as well get a tramp stamp for good measure.

Snorkels are great if you live near Dante's Peak and are friends with Pierce Brosnon.

I'm onboard with this one. Most of them around here are on trucks with a custom aluminum dog box in the back. You wouldn't catch the guy dead on the beach with shorts because the only things in his wardrobe are jeans and Carhartt. It's usually the same guy that has a Yeti sticker while having an Ozark Trail cooler ratcheted down to said dog box.

Everyone roasting the tonneau covers never had to shovel snow out of their bed every other morning when it's -40 C and it shows :)

The original owner of slat life had a manslaughter charge against him for the death of an 18 year old girl. But it makes one hell of a tramp stamp.

Sadly, yes you are correct. I think Toyota was one of the last holdouts amongst the major truck makers with plugging the 1GR in the 2G Taco. Unfortunately Mike Sweers decided to save a buck and drop the Camry motor into the 3G Taco.

Hopefully this is clear, but if not, I'm just giving you 3G guys shit. The 2GR is a great motor for the needs of the average North American Tacoma owner.

Yes, many manufacturers do this. And the 2GR-FKS is used by the Sienna - see below.

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Toyota_Sienna#XL30

The point I'm making is a lot of folks were disappointed when Sweers opted for the 2GR instead of the 270hp 4Runner version of the 1GR-FE. It's not like Toyota dropped the 2GR into the Hilux, Hilux Surf, LC Prado, 70 series or any of the other Toyota flagships of offroad capability and reliability:crapstorm:

Fake beadlock wheels. Might as well carry a rubber pocket knife for looks. Just kidding, malls can be scary.

Bro, you seen speed bumps these days? I'm saving up for extended travel rear shock relocation so I can get through my local REI parking lot and pick up a roof top tent.

I enjoy never having to shovel the snow out the bed of my truck. Use a car window "snow broom " to pull all of the snow off the cover. My tonneau cover makes it easy to keep the buckets of sand over the axel when we get the heavy snow and ice in New england. I like my tonneau cover, got is installed on day 2 of having my truck.

I like my mods and I also like the opinionated ones who get butthurt about someone's opinion. Take it as a joke. Laugh and have a beer while laughing at someone else.

Remember... "you cant fix stupid, you can only point and laugh!"
