That's the thing. Does it? The whole thing is based on them eventually having to pay back the borrowed shares and whatever else my smooth brain didn't read enough...which at their level they could just keep doing what they're doing or find some other loophole. Could be next week, could be 4 years. Who knows.

everyone in the biz media talking about September 17th as the historical date of an October slide beginning.


I know you guys hate Cramer and CNBC, but how do you see a traditional September into October slide versus this year?

Last year and this one would have GIANT *’s by the numbers if this was the back of a baseball card, so traditional forecasts are out the window…

Yea, that’s the thing. The idea is to make it take so long people bow out. Is everyone still going to be holding in 2023? If nothing forced shorts to cover, they can drag this out for as long as they want.

 

The whole thing is just fucked. Kinda hard to battle the people who engineered the game.

Exactly. I don't think many will unless you just keep buying and basically forget about them. There'd have to be a rule change to force them to play by those rules

 

That’s how I see it. Not only can the regular person not continue buying the dips indefinitely, you’re missing out on gains by having your ammo tied up waiting for moass.

$NEM - Newmont corp. Gold and Silver mining. Just paid it's quarterly $0.55 dividend on 9/8 and is at a near a bottom here...
Looking to buy some $55 Jan 2022 calls...
maybe 2 or 4 @$515ish...
These are not HIGH volume calls, but not stagnant either.
I just watched this stock go to $75 the last time the market got wonky...
