    I'm gonna end up doing a custom hood. The only available vented hood for my m3 is the gtr style and its just too aggressive looking. Order a few hood louvers, cut up current hood, and repaint it all.

    Right? I just need to vent some heat and don't want it to look like my truck belongs in a Fast and Furious movie. Wish there was a better option, but for $160 for a new hood, it's not that big of a deal to do some cuttin.

    Yeah, It’s unfortunate that the RK sport hood isn’t as functional like it is on the FJ. Tacoma version only allows air in, doesn’t have heat extractors.

    Thermal imaging photos were taken after a 45 min drive in about ~60°F weather. Mostly highway but last 7 minutes of the trip are suburban. Truck was parked and shut off with little to no idle time, I grabbed the thermal rifle scope and shot the photos. Probably 1-2 minutes between shutting the truck off and shooting the photos. Bering optics "Super Hogster" thermal unit.

    Cam gears and spark plugs are in. Truck runs fantastic. Can definitely feel a little power increase.

    I’m gonna order a 2.8 to get rid of my pulley mod. HPS hoses and block of plates to rid myself of equipment in the engine bay is all next.
