Yep, M12 flashlight. It works okay, but I bought another M12 light that works way better for vehicle stuff...

Anyone got reviews of the vacuums? I’ve got the pre pack out wet/dry m18. Hose broke, replacements seem a little pricey. Considering just getting a new vac as it’s getting old anyway.

i have some 20v dewalt tools with drill and impact set that i keep at home for my projects and the like. did find myself taking them back and forth to work a couple times recently. but i did just pick up the Milwaukee installation driver with heads and the free multitool from HD over the weekend. the deal was too good. my plan is to keep this set with a drill/bit set at work as something is always coming up at our properties with furniture, parts, etc that would be nice to have this around.

For those of you with the m12 Die Grinder, do you guys think its strong enough to cut through the brackets on the leaf springs?

I just installed a 3 leaf progressive AAL, and one of the brackets is too close to the other bracket for my comfort, so I want to cut it off.

You might be able to. I would suggest the M18 angle grinder, personally.

Agree - it's a die grinder, not a cut-off tool. It's actually about the only tool that I've found that doesn't meet/exceed it's pneumatic equivalent. It's good, and I love it when I'm working on stuff away from ready access to air/power, but it isn't quite as good as the old Blue Point.

hhmmm, definitely wouldn't mind picking up an angle grinder... lol

just thought I'd generally get more use out of the die grinder than i would the angle grinder... but oh well... Por Que No Los Dos?

Oh there will be some mods all right
    Don't get this one: https://www1.milwaukeetool.com/Prod...ans/Compact-Vacuums/0882-20?bvstate=pg:4/ct:r

If you read the reviews you will see many people deal with the issue where after a little bit of continuous use it shuts off. I myself deal with that issue first hand. It is too much of a hassle to warranty it just to end up with that problem again as other people have so I just deal with it but I do not recommend it to anyone.

Yep, I’m looking for more shop vac style. There is the one that’s more vacuum with attachments that HD has for 199 with a battery I think, but not really what I’m looking for either.

I have two at work, and believe me they have been to Hell and back. Fantastic machines, both about two years old or more, can’t remember.

I love my M18 grinder as well. My one piece of advice is to get one or two larger (5.0AH or greater) batteries to go with. Mine seems to chew through batteries pretty quick...

I have that one, and use it for household vacuuming. I haven't any issues with it. though I don't usually run it for more than about a minute at a time, so I've never had it shut off on me.
