Good morning all. @Pointeman, They say this might be a bad year for the flu and, in combination with COVID, things could get rough. So, I am off this morning to get a flu vaccine and , for the first time, a shingles vaccine. One for each arm. LOL.

Getting a rapid Covid test this morning. Have had a bad head cold all weekend and work is requiring that I get one prior to coming back to work. I’ve been vaccinated so I’m not too worried about it. It’s a nuisance more than anything. Wish me luck.

Got my appointment on the books. Figured we sort of eradicated the flu all of last year being masked and in lock down. With 500 K-5 kiddos now attending my school I might need all the protection I can get…I have one round of shingles in me so I will probably finish that up at the same time as well. Stay well

 

Morning all. Monday Monday. It’s time me to go manage the multiple cases of Covid that popped up over the weekend. So far we have been able to avoid a full outbreak. Though our systems will need a little work if we want to stay in the game. Trying to social distance 500 kids is the challenge of the day. Stay Well…Stay Safe

 

St Judes is one of my favorite charitys to give to. little ones with such terrible diseases touch my heart.

we are in full outbreak in my area. worse than when this all started. DIL goes back to work today after maternity leave. (teaches 4th grade) school is full of it. lacking enough backfills to cover teachers out. ive been due for my yearly labs and checkup. always the same results so im not going to avoid this variant. had covid in Dec’20. have my shots,did the mask thing.most of the ICU cases are unvacinated but others in hospital that had the shots just not as bad. mostly breathing issues or phneumonia. Be Safe!!

 

Boys are home from Panama City FLA..took 3rd place out of 50 teams at the World Tourney. not too shabby. all teams had to earn there way into the tourney. congrats guys

 

That looks great. During my stops at Subic Bay ( Magsaysay shuffle, anyone?? ) I got turned onto the Lumpia with the banana ketchup and then the Pancit.
