Just took delivery of 2015 Tacoma on Saturday. Red with 38500 miles. My dad sold it to me for 16K. Another 2500 for delivery and North Carolina DMV. Deal of a lifetime!! Already have it on the Outer Banks beach.

Congrats! You definitely got the "family deal" at that price! ;) Ouch on the 2500 for delivery, but I guess at the steal of a deal you got on the truck it more than offsets it. Where did the truck come from?

Congratulations. If your driving in a salt environment. That frame needs some corrosion protection.

Things to do. Tailgate lock, bed mat, LED tail lights, nerf bars, LED interior
lights, hood struts, LED headlights, window gutters, black decals and logos.

    Any other immediate suggestions

I'd recommend fluids, even if you know it's been cared for; give yourself a known baseline. After that, I'd do tint (nothing crazy, 25%?) and a bedmat. Drive it for a bit and see what you feel could be improved. It's a nice truck, not something I'd start modifying for the sake of it. If you wanted to throw some money at it though, I'd look at tires, possible wheels. Maybe some tasteful OEM 3rd gen OR wheels on some 265 75 16?

    Best of luck!

Done by me: decals, plastidip, and vinyl. More to come. Not done by me: Icon front/rear suspension; Total Chaos UCA’s; Method wheels/34” Falken tires; Prinsu cab rack/LED light bar; V1Air compressor piped to a 2.5 gallon underbed tank; Pelfreybilt front/rear bumpers; Smittybilt front winch.
Congrats on the new to you Taco! I’ve had all 3 generations, and the 2015 is my favorite. Just be aware, 2012-2015 are what’s commonly called a Gen 2.5, so the available options are somewhat limited compared to Gens 1, 2, and 3. That said, there’s so much you can do with these trucks. NC is an amazing state to do it in also, with the OBX on one end and the Smokies on the other.

Whatever you do, just don’t give it a Carolina Squat!

I'd also toss in a new cabin filter. Cheers!
