I hope this is ok to share here since it kinda does relate to Drifter stuff.. Vagabond now uses Quickbooks and it asks for a ZIP code when entering your credit card or debit info. I know there are a couple other Canadian customers waiting for their campers and we only have postal codes. If you enter “00” at the start followed by the numbers in your postal code, that will work for your bank cards ZIP code. Figured I’d share to help with Canadian customers trying to pay an invoice lol

Posted awhile back but my drifter is officially for sale (whole rig is available if anyone is interested). 5’ bed, build #4 but with updated insulation, switch panel, and bed platform. Lower and upper lighting (upper lighting on a dimmer), insulation, usb and 12v outlets, fan. I would love to sell with my buildout and Goal Zero Yeti 1000. Looking for $12.5k for the whole setup. Located in Bend, OR.

Since I've been waiting for almost 2 years with differing levels of excitement and anticipation, I am always curious at the reason someone is selling if you don't mind sharing.

Camper is terrific, no complaints with it at all. You’ll love yours. Im selling because I had a back injury and work change so wheeling / camping is somewhat off the table right now.

I continue to love mine. Two weekends back the fam and I went to a near by reservoir for the afternoon. My daughter is still young so come nap time we popped the top, turned on the fan and took a nice long nap.

I bought one used for my Tacoma and loved it so much. Sold the truck and camper to buy a bigger truck and bigger camper (planned to buy a 4Wheel Camper). Looked at all the options out there and the quality on all of them was disappointing. Here I am, with another Vagabond order. You wont be disappointed :)

For my "V1" crossbars, I just welded a couple little angle iron feet to round steel tube. They bolted down to the l track in basically the exact same way as shown below.

This pic (don't mind the bugs :D) is my V2, which I did because I just wanted more ability to have tie-downs/attachment points wherever I needed. 1" 8020 cut to length, and then bolted to these steel feet, which are bolted to the l track.

Oh slick, that's actually exactly what I want to do! Those are the feet you made? If you ever felt like making another set I'd happily pay you for some. :)

If anyone is on the ropes about the insulation package, don't be - my wife and I installed it with the sun blasting on us and the minute I put it up, the heat intensity coming though dropped very noticeably. We ended up camping at 9K feet and even at night it was nice and cozy - the best part - no condensation! Kudos to the VO team! Instructions and pictures were clear as well

Are you talking about the tent insulation or the lower?

The upper insulation works fantastic and was very easy to install. Took longer to read the instruction then to install.

I only have the second page as a photo. I think the first page was the list of materials but the instructions are for drifters that came with the upper velcro attachments already. I'll dm it over.

Honestly, it would take me too long and you wouldn't like the quality either, haha.
But a local welder could probably make some for you in 10-15 minutes. The way I did them, each foot is just 2 opposing pieces of angle iron to make it easier. And there IS a slight angle between the top and bottom horizontal sections to account for the slight peak of the roof, but you could actually just have them welded parallel and bend the angle in with some clamps or a hammer.

If you end up going this direction and need more pics or any of that, feel free to PM me.
