Nice! I got a Bowtech myself. Dealing with a mean case of target panic, so I am taking a break. I love archery though. I like to fletch my own arrows. Find it therapeutic.

We got a 30 yard rule on my property for bow. So I'd say 40 is all good.

 

I think they maybe his business is failing and he's trying to compensate. Pretty much zero guns are available on his website and he doesn't keep many on hand...

 

My AR10 sheared the rim off the brass when shooting it today.
I need to find an adjustable gas block for it because of the over gassing.

 

New to the board, I like guns too.

Welcome! What riser is that on the middle gun?

 

Good call especially since you are sending it with canned goods. My buddy's suppressed AR10 shot softer with with an adjustable gb but he also added the full length receiver extension tube and Voltor A5 buffer system.

how do you like that nx8? i have been debating that over the vudu for a m4a1 block 2 build

 

NX8 is really nice, light weight and short. I have NF branded Tenebraex covers for the glass. As soon as I can locate a NXS 2-10x24 I want, the NX8 will get moved to where the Steiner is and sell the Steiner.

For the Block II it seems the Vortex Razors have been the go to, but the NX8 is a great optic and at 1x the "red dot" really shines for quick shooting.

 

Yeah the nxs are a bit difficult to come by these days, i already have a razor 1-6 for another build and i dont like to have more of the same optic....maybe ill look into the 1-10 if i go that route

Just want something different, the nx8 has always been on the radar for a build but few have commented on the fov at 1x compared to others - length and weight are its biggest selling points to me

 

NX8 definitely doesn't "disappear" like a Vortex Razor at 1x but it is very doable especially with training reps.

 

Just waiting in the trigger and short buffer tube kit.

Started to put together the ar10 lower. Need to rattle can the takedown pins. Idk why I don't mind the black phase 5 bolt release but the black pins bug me. Buffer kit gets here this week. Holding out for the magpul prs lite stock to be released and aero to restock the fluted SS 18 inch upper

 

I had same problem. I bought a new barrel because it was cheaper than an AGB. And AGB are a maintenance cleaning nightmare.

 

Finished it up. I couldn't use the Strike Industry short buffer b/c it has it's own buffer and it wouldn't play nice with the 17 Designs own buffer.







I stuck the SI buffer kit on my Aero lower that has my 410 upper on it.

 

FYI if anyone is interested in Swampfox optics they offer a 30% discount for Millitary, veterans, LEO, firefighters and first responders. You have to jump through a couple of small hoops like starting an account and providing some ID that verifies what you are but worth it to me. I'm still waiting on my verification and I will place my order. I have two of their optics already and have no complaints.

 

What kind of safety selector is that?
