Wisconsin area events- TIGERTON AUGUST 8-10!!!

The restaurant with the whitefish livers is called Pier Plaza Restaurant/The Pickled Herring. Bayfield, Wi. I just called them and confirmed they still serve this local delicacy.

They dont take reservations, you hang out until they page you.

 

Nice! I had been eyeing up the Fat Radish in Cornucopia, but Pier Plaza is actually a bit closer to the campsite.

 

The pier plaza was nice last time i went. Ate on the deck outside with views of the ferries going in and out

 

Sounds like a nice joint. Hopefully the weather is good and we can do the same.

Maybe I'll try the Fat Radish another time.

 

I've had a couple of what would have been memorable nights there back when it was the Village Inn.
The details are a bit foggy though. All I really remember was we had way too much fun!

The last time we were in Bayfield, we had the livers at Greunke's Inn. That's a block further off the lake from the Pier Plaza. Everything was good there. It might be a good fallback place if the Pier is too busy.

 

Anybody heading down to Chicago for the Mall Crawler show? Thinking about it.

 

I might have to get up there again just to check out the restaurants.

Details have been worked out. Staying at Casino should be up there Friday between 7-8 pm to make donations to the casino.

 

Green Bay here and I’m in for a GB gathering. Also wanting to get out on these trails you all are hitting up by Crivitz. That pipeline looks like a blast.
