Very well done I have to admit, but I have never been a big fan of the flat black look on vehicles. Always reminds me of those cars you see that were painted with a bunch of cheap spay paint rattle cans.

It might not be everyone’s jam, but I would like to see it with SEMA wheels, BHLM, CaliRaised smoke tail lights, Meso turns, and tinted glass. Oh, and switch out the fogs for the black Tundra fogs.
Like a black hole, its gravitational field would pull everyone around into it.

It got me thinking about a super low black Ranchero I had in the 80s. All black except the big Centerlines ( black wheels weren’t a thing back then)and BFG T/As I had stuffed under it. It got a ridiculous amount of attention. I used to do cruise nights at Angelo’s in Anaheim, Van Nuys Blvd., and Market St. in Riverside. I would have random girls just come up and want to go for a ride. People were weirdly attracted to that truck. I guess it was the dark and mysterious vibe it put off. The down side was Johnny Law was also attracted to it and I got a lot of tickets for too low. The tickets really became a problem.
I would love to reproduce that truck with some modern twists and some style changes I just wouldn’t have thought of then.

Can anyone share the price for full wraps, when it’s not done by a family friend?

I can tell you it’s not anywhere near 2200. at least not here in CA. Looking at 4-5k for a full wrap like this at most places, which is why more people haven’t done it

 

Man. My oaintyis getting beat up. I might have to consider a matte black. Honestly not one of the colors I considered.

 

$2200 for materials? Brother in Law free labor?

 

$700 for the wrap. $1500 labor. He offered to do it for free but I’d rather pay for the work

Yeah... you may not be aware of it, but there is this "full disclosure" rule on TW. Once you post, you have to give up all the goodies on it. It's like that date that thinks you owe them something.
