Should we start a “Tacoma wave”

I like to play it cool. So I do this.

 

If I'm on the bike, yes. In the truck, no, but if someone waves at me I won't be unfriendly.

 

Gladiator drivers just show the hilt of their mall bought katanas to one another quickly while passing. It's very fast, almost ninja fast, so you wouldn't be blamed for missing it.

This information came to me via a man wearing a flaming dragon button down shirt, and Jncos with frosted tips in his hair -- he was a real deal Jeep guy.

 

So, would this be like the "Jeep wave" but with one less finger up?
I usually get the "What's up" head bob from other Tacoma owners.

 

I only waved at Tacomas that had a good amount of work into them (more than a 2.5" lift and 33" ko2s). Then you know for sure they'll wave back if your truck has a good amount of work into it too.

Move to orange county and try waving at every non-modified tacoma. Might as well tape your hand upright.

 

Inversely, I avoid CVT dweebs like the plague for fear they talk to me about broverlanding -- which for most people means car camping the same places you'd already have camped, but with 5x the gear!

Really though Taco owners are usually friendly dorks.

 

I will only occasionally wave when I see "Quicksand" model in acknowledgement of their exceptionally good taste.
And, I often wave back if someone waves first. But not always.
Otherwise, not so much.

 

I don't wave at other Tacomas. That's just silly. But I'll always give a return thumbs up when I pass hitchhikers.

 

No. I already have to wave back to all the fricken Wranglers in the world.

To be serious for a moment, I do wave back if someone waves at me. It’s not often in my basic SR. I did have a 1st gen park beside me once, truck was beat up and had been a real work horse, the driver and I talked Tacomas for a bit and that was nice. Yeah Tacoma Bro’s lol.

 

With all the Tacomas in CALIFORNIA, you'd be waving non-stop until you get arthritis or something.

 

If I'm driving with my windows down, I throw a peace sign........ but I don't make any special effort .

 

I can smell that from here. Somebody needs to shower.
