partially remove the liner, you don't need to fully remove it. All that holds the fog light in there is a single Philips screw.

You won’t be disappointed in the kit. I have one in my 2010 and it was an easy install. Probably 30-45 minutes. I used to have the BD lights with a metal bracket and after a year it started to rust. There brackets are plastic and look stock

I believe you can remove the grille and go in from that direction. It might be easier.

I installed a set about 2 months ago. It is very easy to peel back the fender liner. To do the whole job took me just under an hour and I am not fast with this stuff. Diode dynamics has a good video on their website. F5619BEF-4DD5-48FB-BA7C-83C074DBA908.jpg

Got the whole job done in 45 minutes. Thanks for all of your feedback. One question though. The factory fogs were held in place with two screws each, but only one of the screws (the top one) on each side fits with the DD bracket. Is that normal or did they send me the wrong bracket? It seems to fit otherwise. I read multiple posts from people saying it is only held in place with one screw so I guess I assumed the factory fogs also only had one screw each.

I just installed mine last week, each one was only held in by 1 screw. Unless I did it wrong?

3rd Gens only hold the OEM fogs in with one screw. 2nd Gens used 2 screws for OEM. The bracket is designed off a 3rd Gen fog assembly and designed for use with one screw, like 3rd Gen OEM. If you use 2 screws on 2nd Gen, the bracket isn’t designed to be compatible with the 2nd Gen mounts using both screws and ends up in a slightly tilted fog. So you should only use one screw with the SS3s on 2nd Gen, just like 3rd Gen.
