    The sidewalls are almost identical.

Again, I’ve ran K02s for what is probably hundreds and hundreds of thousands of kms across many different vehicles for work and pleasure. I’ve had ZERO issues with the tires themselves. From all over the US to up here, all across Canada - in ALL weather in all sorts of terrain. I’ve had a few punctures and gotten stuck a few times - but these were MY ERROR, usually forcing vehicles into area above their (and the tires) limitations.
The K02s are also widely available - you’ll find them in the most rural shops around North America (maybe even the world?) if you’re stuck somewhere remote and in need of rubber.

All that to say Driver > Rubber.
Unless you’re a professional driver of some sort, but that’s an extremely rare exception to the rule.

In that case OP should get ST MAxx's and look down on all others.

Anyone have experience with Wildpeak tires in Nevada? Specifically northern Nevada rocky dirt trails and Sierra snow?

Just got the Wildpeaks in 275/70/17 about 6 months ago, no lift, no complaints. Took them out for a pretty good test on Sunday. Mud holes that bottomed out the struts and I forgot to take my hitch out so I was carving small ditches behind me. They are surprisingly quiet to me. Ran BFG’s on several vehicles and they were good tires, no complaints. I would buy either again but would probably go Wildpeaks because of the price difference.

Nah the KO2s have a gross looking sidewall that almost blends into the tire IMO whereas the wildpeaks look more "wild" like you can spot it a mile away

Totally just my subjective view on it

You stuffed 275s in there with no rub? Wild lol

I was so scared that mine would rub with a 2" lift. I still feel like it will sometimes but clearly it hasn't and I've driven it a fair amount.

OP, if you're looking for the best performing tire, look into the Nitto Trail/Ridge Grapps. Would've got them if I cared about performance (and not sidewall appearance). trail grapplers seem to be the most frequently preferred tire amongst the pro rock crawlers but if a mud terrain isn't for you, the ridge grappler is the closest thing to it

There's a video showing this but a suspension lift won't change your rubbing because it'll compress to the same spot. Off the street, If it works with a lift, it'll work without.

They do rub a little, mostly on a downhill turn, it just touches the plastic inner fender liner towards the rear of the truck. No metal contact at all.You can see the clean spot here. I think the offset on the 4Runner wheels may help a little. Not sure. Regular daily driving, no rubbing.

can't tell for sure but if that's the front, trim it or you can have an alignment tech pull back your caster if you got space in the back

Looks like rear side driver judging by the wire loom there.

Heat gun and press it back man.

It is the rear but normal daily driving it doesn’t touch at all. Steep downgrades and a full lock on the steering is where it makes contact most of the time. Or if I hit a swale or steep grade change too quick while turning it’ll touch but I have to almost be driving too fast to make it happen. When I first had them installed I did all kinds of stuff to see if and where it would touch.

That pic was taken on Sunday where the suspension was maxed out. If I wash the truck, you can’t even tell where it touches, so far anyway. In time I’m sure it’ll eat the liner if I don’t push it back.

I have Falkens on my Wrangler and now my Tacoma. Both sets had one tire that was difficult to balance (two different shops). I'll try something else next time.

We have the same setup, except I have 2" lift. Have yet to take it off road and flex, but I rub on my mudflaps at half turn to the left, hoping some RokBlokz flaps will fix it because I love having flaps (keeps the body spotless). Caster also helps since I was only able to get 0.2 on the left and 0.9 on the right (doesnt rub ever on the right)

when the falken vs ko2 question arises, I always recommend Duratracs. It's a fantastic tire in rain or snow. it's great off road. it's great on road. the treads are very deep.

the work phenomenally and look great while doing it.
