I'm assuming they didn't wait until the suspension was loaded when they put the sway bar brackets in causing binding. Or the left and right brackets are swapped doing same thing. No idea. But these frames are very thin and anything minuted to them causes it to rust bad. I had to pull my sliders and repaint since my frame was rusting terribly under them. I'd pull the other bracket and the sway bar and see if the frame is coming apart on the other side also. What does the other side look like mounted. Like how was the angle on the sway bar before this happened?

There's a lot in NC too. Usually they'll install the lift it in the front and leave the back stock

    Fabtech lift kit.
The other bracket is still on the truck. The weld to one of the nuts is broken so the bolt just spins. 20210912_180726.jpg

I was going to ask what “DB” stood for. One should always define an acronym at point of first usage. i put the source of confusion on whoever first used “DB” without defining what it stood for.

That term is so common around here, that people assume it's common knowledge.

I think there was a thread on this before, but some notables include.

    • UCA - upper control arm
    • LCA - lower control arm
    • CMC - cab mount chop
    • DB - drop bracket (lift)
    • LT - long travel
    • DC - double cab
    • AC - access cab
    • LB - long bed
    • SB - short bed
    • DCLB/ACLB/ DCSB - see previous 4 terms
    • CPS - crank position sensor
    • STFU - every TW member ought to know this one
    To name a few...

I was sticking with TW specific, but yes those are common forum terms worth knowing as well.

I still haven’t figured out iirc. For a minute I kept thinking about Ivan launching through the air, and it was related to some sort of Baja race. :D

Good refresher, thanks. I believe the first 5 acronyms you listed are mostly used in threads titled “I lifted and got vibrations help!” and “I’ve had 3 alignments wtf” “Runnin 33’s and she’s a dog time to regear” and “I’m getting 14mpg, my wide ass 35’s are throwing shit all over my truck and cars behind me but by god she’s got an aggressive stance worthy of the mall now”. :D
