Stock on my 2021. I believe it’s a transfer case brace.

Wish I could say it only took me 15 minutes. After about 10 minutes on my back in the garage, I opted to just head to the shop and complete it. Having a lift was helpful. Thanks Shaun for making these.

I just moved back to the north Phoenix from Denver just a day or two ago. I rented a 26' Penske truck to move and when I returned the truck at Home Depot, the guy checking me in said he had three trucks "out of service" due to cats being stolen. So, it's still a thing.:tumbleweed:

I am very happy and humbled to see you all enjoying this product. I am a bit of a rut right now waiting on some construction and tooling, but I hope to have a full off-road package to go with this skid plate soon!!!

Maybe it's been mentioned here already but I have heard that if people can't cut the cats out they'll cut up random stuff under there to express their displeasure

It's quite possible. If one were to look at this from a business prospective, why spend time vandalizing random stuff and risk getting caught. Wouldn't it be easier to just move to the next truck or Prius and get back to work? But then again, it's hard to fathom how a criminal mind works. 212166

Seriously trying to think why one would want to powder coat it. I may need to be educated.

They're already under there with the tool. Doesn't take long to make a little statement before you crawl back out.

Why not just get skid plates? or ask a fab company to make you something to block the cat converter from being stolen?

Theres probably local fab shops in your area that would love your business if you want to support local businesses.

The answer to this one is rather simple.

A T- case skid (as well as preventive measures put in place by Toyota themselves to make the theft of them difficult to even cordless Saw all wielding tweakers, drug addicts, and low life thieves looking to make a quick buck).

I hope you brought 50 blades to cut through that 1/4 thick metal 2 extra batteries for your Milwaukee cordless and a bulletproof vest for the impending buckshot that I brought out of my house as soon as I heard you right outside of my window with your candy ass name right on it. If you're lucky I might go a little more stealthy and just confront you with a smile and a Glock with a 10 nice .45 rounds in it. Those rounds have your candy ass name on them as well.

That's a common misconception of the frame and build of the average Tacoma owner.
