Hey folks, got some new wheels that I would like to put my old tires on (only 7k miles on them) and got quoted around $230 from my local Discount tire in Augusta. Is that the average price nowadays? I tried googling the cost and it seems to go all over the place.

 

You get banned for that now? If so that’s just sad.

 

I just got tires there. Install with lifetime balance, rotation, and repair was $22 a tire but I also bought them form there. Pep boys has a promo saying free install with purchase of some tires and says it's a $120 value.
Sooooo with that being said, I'd assume avg cost to get tires mounted is around $30 per tire maybe?

Yea that’s why I was asking. Not heavy in the scene myself, but I routinely check out the related offerings in the BST - Other section.

Things seem to be changing so drastically in non-interweb world lately I assumed it’s possible TW has followed.

 

As long as it's kept to just gun talk and no politics then all is good. When the politics gets involved, thats when people get banned.

 

That seems high just to swap rims. I think Walmart charges $15 to mount wheels. Maybe try calling them or a local shop?

 

I feel like the few times that I've seen guns show up in the classifieds the post gets deleted fairly quickly. Maybe that's just my own skewed perception. I know we have threads dedicated to guns, but it is rare (if ever) that I see a fun BST post that sticks around. I just kind of assumed it was ok to talk about them, but not BST them here.

 

This ones been around for a week or so now. There just aren't that many that try to sell whole guns here b/c of shipping and ffl transfer cost so it kinda kills deals.

Tried calling wal-mart, no answer so will have to try again after work. Called the local dealership, and they quoted around $90, so worst case scenario I'll go to them and hope for the best. Am gonna try a couple of other local shops just to double-check though.

 

I work at a Honda dealership and we charge $23 per tire to mount and balance so less than 100 is normal for sure. I've seen some of those we sell used tires places mount and balance for $10 but if you have new nice wheels I'd be afraid they may scratch them.

 

Cause that’s when shit is dangerous…politics.

 

Maybe you guys can help me find a front Bumper for my 2003 Silverado 2500HD.

I have been looking for some sort of used aftermarket steel bumper for my work truck. I don’t Facebook, but I know some of you do. Keep me in the loop should you find one that would work.

Are the bed mats between a 2nd gen and a 3rd gen interchangable (as long as you match the bed length)?
My brother recently got a newer tacoma, and is looking for a bed mat.
6 ft bed, lives in the Bartow county area. If you know of one being sold, please let me know.
