Looks very similar to a Hilux. Wonder if there is some rebranding going on between Toyota/Lexus again.

Looks too much like a car front end, too much plastic, it would break into a million pieces the moment that you hit anything. The cargo space in the truck bed looks tiny too, like a Tundra's Short Bed. Whats up with that antenna in the front? are they trying to be Teletubbies?

The rock sliders look pretty weak too, thats not going to protect the sides of the truck from anything.

You do something enough, you will make mistakes. We have all been there. Doesn't mean you suck. At least not because of that.:D

I performed the gas tank mod today and filled it with some 87 octane Chevron gasoline ($2.69 per gallon). Hand calculated 20.76 mpg with 90% city driving. This is the first truck I've ever had to actually get the advertised MPG on the window sticker for city. MPG doesn't really mean much to me however, it's nice to know Toyota can build a V6 engine that is both durable and efficient.

16x8 SCS F5s on Matte Gray. I love them and the Maxxies look absolutely gorgeous. I may get them again when I upgrade to 285s. Right now they are 265/75s

There is no trimming required, the projectors have the same mounting pattern but it is far from an easy swap as you have to open up the headlight housing and the permaseal that Toyota uses is nasty. This thread has more info and pictures.

Next up roof rack, exterior area lights and interior lights. Hope to take a good stab at all of that this weekend, but will probably take a couple weekends to mostly wrap up.

What have we done to our Tacoma in the past year? Been a while since last post..
Not too much, no sense in overdoing things... Choose what's important for our needs and put the money where it counts.
    LOTS of pics..

    • Found a used Packasport rooftop cargo box. Didn't want to spend 1000$+ for one. Payed 400$ and refurbished it. It was fiberglass so it was an easy fix and strong! Dismantled it and put on new
hardware and reinforcements + white paint to match our military trailer and Toyota graphics in tan to match topper..

    • Bilstein 5100's all around + ICON add 3 leafs keeping the overload leaf in place. (rides amazing compared to stock and the overload doesn't make it a rough ride as some state) Love having a
heavy duty mechanic for a father-in-law

    • 285/70/17 GENERAL GRABBER ATx including 5th wheel spare. LOVE this tire, fresh look, not too sporty or too nobby...
    IMG_9398.jpg IMG_9648.jpg IMG_0022.jpg

    • Did our take on the "viper cut" Found the way it's being done doesn’t look right from the side of the truck so we tried a different look.
TACO FRONT VERT (1 of 1).jpg

    • And some eye candy with it all done and doing what it does best!
