Ill take some pics of the pump outlet and maybe you can chime in on what you had in mind for the radius.

no on the oil cooler. Nothing as of right now

The outlet port right after the gears can be a good place to gain a little flow, but not all pumps can benefit. Yes, please grab some pics.

Also, it's been a while since I read up on it, but recall some oiling mods Toyota did to the 2TZ-FZE to improve oil flow at the crankshaft.

Some 2/3TRFE as well as 3ZR engines received an oil to coolant donut oil cooler that mounted above the filter. That's a good start.

Mightve forced my hand with haltech. Due to me not giving a shit, got rid everything evap and sais and now boom. Trucks not happy lol. Fucker starts sounds mint for a few seconds and then she shuts off. Ive been debating to go to haltech for awhile now. If anybody has any ideas due to me having to
Wheel this thing next week now is the time.

I have one of those im going to install it and see if that helps out. Im thinking its the evap circuits thats open causing this issue. I have a p0453 and a p0418 code( evap and sais) i the ecu controls the ground for the fuel pump and its not wanting to give me fuel. Bypassed it and got it running, but the ecu is telling me not today motherfucker.

lol hosed bro, hopefully the trash isnt dumped yet. Im betting itll take a month or so to round up the conversion harness and ecm, wite
my truck ran fine but threw a fault with sais disconnected. Id totally believe the evap will shut you down. It senses tank pressure and unplugged it may default to thinking it has an unsafe level of tank back pressure or vacuum making fuel injection unstable. Worse case id plug it all back in and run with the evap until you get the haltech. Or at least the sensors and zip ty it somewhere, if trash day didnt already happen

Im a life long WIX fan and it really was a high quality filter on teardown but i suspect it may not be the best option for a high performance build. Which leaves me wondering what oil filter should be used. filter pictured is a 51348XP. No particles made it through the element however this model is equipped with a bypass valve in the bottom and the element is very small! It is totally possible for particles settled in the bottom of the filter to get sucked through the bypass when the oil is cold. The metal shavings and debris on the rag were all in the bottom of the canister near the bypass valve. Only reason to bring this up is the number one main bearing and the number one rod both had debris embedded. Either it was assembled like that from the factory or these WIX bypass filters are flowing sediment in certain conditions. I disassembled the valve to make sure it wasnt stuck open with debris. Not the case. Definitely need a quality filter with a larger element and no internal bypass.

The canister is a filter, id think you could limp it by just finding the sensors. It will atill throw pressure related codes due being exposed to open air. It logs the pressure reading and then opens a solenoid valve to purge the excess pressure into the intake to cause a neutral tank pressure. It wont see a drop or elevation in pressure which will more than likely cause a fault. But should still run fine. It routinely runs a evap test cycle monitor everytime you start the truck

Im looking at identifix.com right now to try and figure a way to bypass it or fool it. I need to put pants on and go look to see if i have the sensors

    Just a question!
Anyone here using a Water Methanol Injection system to lower the temps?
The Magnuson supercharger system I am running & testing doesn’t have an intercooler.
The HP levels off @ approx 4800. I think it’s because of the temperatures the supercharger is making. I talk to the GM at the tuner about an injection system and asked what he thought. He liked the idea and we talked for a short time. He said they only use systems with a braided line and larger tanks. Maybe I’m being over cautious but I think it’s cheap insurance because of the issue someone else here had. I don’t have a boost gauge installed yet. But I understand this system runs up to 9lbs.

    Any suggestions?
Thanks in advance for any real info.

    Have you considered an intercooler?

Yes, that was my suggestion. The vendor says no.
I’m guessing the vendor would likely need to re-design the intake manifold and I *think* they are trying to stay under a price point. Me I want to be safe and wouldn’t mind a little more top end. But don’t we all? :notsure:
I still think if I had the skills I install a strong baby 5.3LS w/ manual. After seeing the guys S-10 that I was going to have install an LS for me, I still think you can’t bet it for HP, Torque and cost.
Guy’s with limited tools & skills have to depend on others with these skills and abilities.
    We just have to :spending:
I can do maintenance and fix most things but I know when something above my skill. :sadviolin:
    Plus I absolutely hate wiring‼️

Well if they want more power then it needs an air to water intercooler, or at least the option to upgrade.

I was just thinking about lowering the charge temp going into the cylinders at a selected boost level.
Not changing the fuel or timing.
That in itself *should* help some from what *little* I know.
The Rotrex system has a large intercooler but has major issues with reliability. Some of you know I had a Rotrex system and I absolutely hated it‼️ Did it run good? Ok yes, but every day I worried is this the day the shaft snaps in the compressor? I didn’t like that the charge tubes didn’t fit for shit! I had to grind plastic from the back of my headlights to clear the charge tubes and had to keep “massaging” the AC line just to connect the pipes. I then call G the next day asking I’m I the only one with fitment issues? G tells me no one else has said anything. So I ask a question here and in two days I got 5 PM/DMs from others that had the same issues. But I’m the first BULL SHIT‼️ Then having to cut into the factory wiring harness. Why couldn’t G make a harness with plugs? Hell it took the tuner sometime to reprogram my factory ECU. But I think a lot of that was the VVTi and the bypass on the supercharger fighting each other. I’m running the factory ECU and the truck just went through the state of AZ emissions without a issue! I waited until the tuning was done to register the truck.
Ok guys I’m almost done venting about G…but he really really pissed me off.

Yes I’m running the snow stage 3 kit on my truck. I like it a lot, gives me some peace of mind. I used the stock washer reservoir and I stuck the controller in the coin tray on the driver side. The last pic is from my other truck but that’s where the controller is for reference

    @BassAckwards
Thanks! I have a lot of questions (Sorry!)
May I ask if you know how much the washer reservoir holds and have any idea how much fluid it uses? I was thinking the exact same thing!
Does it evaporate any with the meth in the tank? It’s pretty Damn hot & dry here in AZ. 9-14-21 it was only 108 yesterday but we missed last year’s record of 109 for the date… But the overnight lows are sweet just in low 80’s. And yes that’s nice compared to the 115+ just about a month ago.
Running it off the boost or RPMs? I was thinking / guessing about having it engage at a set boost level…6lbs?
Using a braided line or the nylon? Being you have it covered in loom I’m guessing nylon?
Love the controller in the coin tray! Being I don’t know the size of the controller did you have to modify the tray any and how’s the wiring for a guy who hates wiring.
The tuner said he want to set it up on the Dyno.
Again THANKS for any advice you can pass on to a dumb shit.
