    I everybody,

I am new here and have a question for the experts:
    Truck info:
    2006 Tacoma Access cab
4 cyl, 5 lug, Manual transmission

    I have the Readylift 2.75"
    265/70/16 tires
    firestone airbags
I use this truck as my work truck and i carry on average of 500 to 700 pounds in the bed of the truck.

I have the stock gear ratio installed still but notice a loss of power.
I have searched this forum for what gears to use, but i think i might have to use a different gear ratio cause of all the weight i have in my truck.
I seen some guys are using the 4.10 and the 4.54

Here is some pics of what my truck looks like after the lift.

i would prolly go 4.10s and then some engine mods. otherwise when the truck isnt loaded it will go high in RPMs

hmm. well if you got the cash. I would say New Header, Doug Thorley and LCE are the companies that make them for our trucks. I would say if you really want power. get a supercharger when URD gets done with the unit for our engine. Also cut out the secondary air filter.

yeah 4.10 would get you back to around stock according to the tir size calculator. if you want 4.56 that would get you more power, but i wouldnt go any higher with that size tire or like schiz said it will rev too high

4cyl prerunner has 4.10 gears and that same tire diameter from factory, so I would say 4.10 is the way to go.

I think i might get the 4.56 then.

I found a company that will do it $600.00 installed, is that a good price?

I have 4.10s in mine and love it, IMO. I think thats an ok price, but maybe while your at it think about an lsd or detroit locker or something.
