I love my Softtopper in Tan but I think the black would look great with your color truck in the Off Road package.

Just got off the phone with Softopper. I was told that toppers are built and waiting to ship, they are now waiting on the aluminum for the clamp system. I asked how others like Unchained 5150 got theirs so quickly and she said they must've ordered standard clamps and not the clamps that use the utility track system. I don't know if it's true or not but she did set a new expectation of mid October. They aren't even expecting the raw aluminum until October 4th. The wait continues. At least I know I have at least 3 more weeks of waiting ahead.

At least tag me when you are going to reference me. It only attaches to our trucks using the bed rail system, so whoever that was told you a load of shit. It's the only option available for our trucks to secure it to.

These are what mine are using attached to the Utility Rack

I don't know how to tag someone. I'm just a guy waiting on a softopper and I didn't stay at a Holiday Inn Express last night.

Like this @bigbadbarty and I have no idea what staying at a Holiday Inn Express means.

I ordered mid august, and it said 3-5 weeks. While I’m not quite at the tail end of that time frame, I’d hope at least some sort of communication would go out to those waiting when production has to be paused due to them not having certain parts or materials. Especially if, as we’re finding out here, later orders of SB toppers are being fulfilled while us LB orders are left waiting.

Exactly, I bought from them because I read their customer service was top notch. So far, not impressed.

They are definitely feeling the supply chain pain. I don't want to put a deadline on it but if I don't see mine by mid October, I'll cancel and order again next spring. I'd rather have my $$ in my account, not theirs.

This is exactly my plan. I understand their hands are tied but if I only get a use or two out of it before I have to store it anyways I may as well just hold off until then.

Softopper customer service has turned into a dumpster fire recently. I respect the price increase from my previous topper and lead times but the communication is total crap.

The lady who answers the phone is so rude and bitter. If you don’t like your job find a new one. Don’t take it out on your customers who support your business. I was suppose to receive a refund on a item and was told they sent it. They even sent me a “invoice.” 4 weeks later my credit card company says they haven’t received anything.

Customer service lady pretty much called me a liar and told me to figure it out….yea I’ll figure it out with a CC dispute.. not sure wth their problem is over there but ever since they got bought out they lost touch of their foundation………..ok done with my rant lol
