Just wanted to get this going in the community asap since they just released and they are kick ass, I also wanted to share this for all those who are interested in the other various colored lenses they offer. I have tested them all, including the white diffused. enjoy
the first phot is showing that the entire engine bay was dark despite having little light coming from my garage corner.
@WrecklessAbandon @tonered buy a set for your under the hood lights these are bad ass!

    DSC01241.jpg

    DSC01218.jpg
on the left is the old v1 in standard clear lens, on the right is the v2 in standard clear lens

    DSC01240.jpg
this is just a single v2 in clear lens pattern, very bright over the old v1.

    DSC01242.jpg
this is the v2 with the diffused lens, it appears almost identical but there are some small minor differences you can see, you decide.

    DSC01245.jpg

    DSC01248.jpg
    DSC01250.jpg
    DSC01251.jpg

last few are the red, green, blue and amber. IF you are looking for under the hood lighting, rock lights dome lights, not just for tacoma but any make, these v2 kick ass and do the job well. They have the same draw as a baja designs rock light yet still being bright AF.

The next thing I will be testing is the v2s, vs v1s as rock lights, and baja designs rock lights mounted under the truck, vs v2s. stay tuned, shout out to @memario1214 for the gear and letting me test these

input and feedback are greatly appreciated no matter how degrading

Looking good Mike. I love my amber v1s. Can only imagine how much brighter these v2s would be.

Damn if I could only find some light mounts for under my hood I would put a pair of these in myself.

We'll have a solution for that. Working with a fab shop on a few different things. This being one of them.

You just need some Neodymium stud magnets like these, they won’t go anywhere. I use something similar.

Design isn't complete so I don't want to put the cart before the horse here... But if you look at how they're situated in the truck on the photos above... Should be a similar placement to something like that. Trying to use existing holes to keep folks from having to punch holes in their new truck as much as possible.

The magnetic mount allows you to stick them onto anything metal. The Cyclone sits on the stud and the nut holds it in place. I’d have to dig up the exact ones I have that came with a matching nut.

I wonder how secure that could be for a long term solution… I know folks won’t want that on an external rock light, but maybe under hood.

I’m using them for external rock lights. I can pick up a 20lb dumbbell with one of my magnets the size of a quarter, with capacity to easily spare. Neodymium Magnets are the strongest magnets commercially available, they are absurdly impressive. I’d have to check but I think my units are rated at something like 100lbs pulling force. Really the problem isn’t them staying put, it is getting the damn things off if you don’t put them in the right spot. I almost instantly regretted sticking that thing to my tool box for the photo, without the Cyclone threaded on, it would be almost impossible to remove.

Here ar the units I purchased. Don’t recall if it was the 92lb or 100lb units.
Edit: I used the 92lb units.
