    Maybe they were signaling you of a speed trap ahead and you just think your 3rd gen is all that and deserves waves all over the place. :rofl:

    Agreed. I live in San Diego and definitely flashing lights is not generally considered a wave; but a warning of some sort i.e. law enforcement, your lights are on, coffee cup on the roof, dog tied to leash being dragged along next to the truck....at least this has been my personal experiences when folks flash me. :)

    In my mind the wave means "I acknowledge your choice in vehicles/mods, am dealing with all of the same inconveniences and I share your pain. Please wave back to tell me it's ok, we'll get through this."

    I have a Jeep TJ that always gets waves. Naturally I wave at Tacomas, and have gotten a few in return. :thumbsup:
