    Have you thought about making the plans/CAD available for a fee? Would be minimal work on your end, and the buyer could just take to a place like send cut send or a local cutter.

    Just a thought...

    Thanks, I've been considering it. Where's the price point where you as the buyer are happy with the product and happy enough not to post it up on the web for others to freely access rather than directing people to my page where they too can purchase for a nominal fee?

    You'd always run the risk of people "steeling" your products. I'm sure someone could buy the full kit from you, then just copy it and give it away to friends (or even sell it), too. Not much difference with plans.

    It's one of those unfortunate parts of being a business owner/operator. There will always be those losses. But they're usually negligible. I'd say $20 or so is pretty reasonable, but only you know what your time is worth.
