I never thought I would learn terms like "dry side" and "wet side," and I would have guessed wrong on which side I wanted to be on.

 

I told my neighbor I wish my house was valued at $1, unless I decide to sell. But I've been here 29 years, I doubt I go anywhere.

Same here. Never knew or had to care about any of that until this year. Now I have three weather apps as well as a blog from a retired La weatherman who everyone down here worships.
In Ca we only thought about earthquakes and wildfires but since neither happened regularly we never obsessed about them. In Az it was only fires but pretty much lived in the burbs so again … not a huge worry.
Completely different story down here. As much as I love it down here I’ll be happy when the Mrs and kids are ready to leave.

 

French bread turned out ugly as hell but it's still good. Decent job for the first time.
