First Mod!

Finally got the TRD pro grille with the raptor lights! Super stoked.

 

Welcome to the forum, now listen very carefully…. Bury your wallet in the back yard before it’s too late.

 

I needed this advice the day I bought my Taco…. Bought $800 in upgraded on day 2… granted I got a steal when retail was closer to $1600… but the money goes quick with this one.

Also unnerving to start cutting up your bumper the second days after you’ve had the truck, but I love the results!

welcome! I just did my grill also. No lights tho, still debating.

 

Now get rid of the air dam. It won't cost you a dime to to that.

I did. LOL. But I'm coming from a 10 mpg Titan. So it's inherently going to be better. LOL.

 

Voodoo Blue always looks so vivid and bright. Second favorite color only to Army Green! Welcome to TW!

 

It wouldn't have any effect driving around town so I've been checking my MPG's on the highway. That's been inconclusive though, no difference. There's just too many variables like wind direction, load, etc.
(I did put on a TRD Pro skid plate which appears to streamline the underside of the front.)
I prefer the stance of the truck without the dam. Probably adding a roof rack would do worse to the MPG's.

Don’t get lights. EVERYONE has those lights. It’s cloning at its best. Cookies cutter trucks. Pro grill on non pro trucks. Amber grill lights. Black badges. TRD skid plate. 33” tires. Rinse wash repeat.

 

Have you purchased the quicklift for your hood? those are a must have! as well as the truck bed mat!

 

Funny how the Off Road has the same est. mileage as the models with the air damn......
