    not enough.
very interesting.....that's too bad. was excited to see if it would actually hold up to light riding. :/ That's way unfortunate.

Mostly Stock for now, 265 75 16 Falken AT3W, Tinted fronts...
which ever one you get, I'd make sure it is Amazon Prime just in case haha. Helmets are so subjective when it comes to fit...add in the whole having to rest against your cheeks and it makes it even harder

I think it's just poor word choice. the SL-M8100 photo shown it to be right mount and bar mount.
Either that or poor photo choice.

Avoid full faces with D-rings for the straps. They have mostly been phased out, but man did I get annoyed with mine when I was eager to get it off.

I cannot wait to get time back to ride. Listed our house yesterday and were under contract in less than 12 hours. Still “moving” into the new house and just haven’t felt like I’ve had a spare second in forever.

Also get some goggles to finish the FF setup, good thing is they are reasonably priced compared to "riding" glasses.

people haven’t used them enough. growing up on dirt bikes you learn to take them off with gloves pretty quickly.

Nothing wrong with them, im not getting a new helmet just because of d-rings. I think maybe riding in the southeast has something to do with it, when you want that helmet off you want it off. If I were to buy another helmet id skip over d-ring options.

Yeah I thought the same thing until the new magnetic style has come out. Makes you feel like D-rings are from 1925, new mechanism is amazing

I think I'm referring the the SNAP style. It's patented but I think they license to a few different manufacturers. I know my Fox Dropframe has it and I'll never go back

Agreed, I like my 7IDP Project 23 magnet lock or whatever it's called.

I agree, I like my magnetic lock, it's nice to be able to unlatch and push helmet up for my head to breathe on fireroads and then pull it down and fasten it back with one hand.
I wonder if they've switched from D-Rings on motocross helmets since impacts are more often going to be harder. I haven't bought a new motorcycle helmet in forever.

The new lock design does have a huge advantage on helping medical professionals remove a helmet during a neck injury. My Shoei helmet had D-Rings and quick release cheek pads for if a neck or concussed rider.

My latest medical class unexpectedly had a laissez-faire approach to helmet removal. Effectively they're now teaching you the damage has already been done, moving the victim to remove a helmet won't make it worse

Still sketchy to me though and I'm only WFA-certified so Imma keep that bitty on the victim until the pros show up

Was looking into setting up CPR/Trama class for my group of riding/offroad buddies, after a pretty shitacular experience I had last month.

Any recommendations? Was looking at the Red cross programs?

I've always figured they've been thrown like a ragdoll they possibly already have injuries possibly even splinters and hairline fractures I don't want to make worse, but I don't really agree with "damage is done" I assume unless dead you can always make it worse.

If I were you, I'd focus on calming the injured rather than helping the injured in event of a bicycle/dirbike wreck.
