I'm real interested in how you like your Deavers. Are they an AAL or full replacements?

    its fixed now,
when I originally reset the codes, I had the engine running. as a last ditch effort I reset the codes when the engine off, and it hasn't come back. So fingers crossed the MIL will stay off for a good while now!

in other news, neighborhood kids decided that I needed to buy a plug kit and keep it in the truck.
little buggers put nails in 3 of my tires. Best I can guess is they jammed them in the tread so that when I drove away they would puncture the tires.
I got real lucky, only 1 of them actually punctured the tire and lost air. I patched it up with the "victor" kit from CDN Tire, but still had a slow leak. I finally took it to a shop and they patched it up. That was an un-expected ending to my most recent vacation.

Stage I expedition packs. I don’t have them installed yet. I ordered some Archive hammer hangers and I’m waiting for those to arrive before I install.

    Everyone have a good weekend?
After replacing my battery with a taller one, I found that my winch switch would not mount in the same location ( the old method was rinky dink at best.... )
after some soul searching ( google ) I found a clever mount that I could copy and reuse my old mount with some slight modifications. I just need to re-paint it and it will be GTG! Excited to have the winch wired back up ( you know... for mall crawling! )

I'll post up some pictures after lunch

the next day counts as "after lunch" right? I never said WHICH lunch..... :D

4 holes in the top are for switch mounting, the 3 holes in the front panel are for mounting, the one hole on the side is to re-locate the wire clip for the horns ( since I used that hole for a mount point )
the shape is mostly due to me reusing this mount from the previous version, and ignore the two little holes on the mount side. just some test holes for another project

Grill Removed, and the 3 bolts installed, Gooped them up with grease to slow the rusting process.

Top down view in the engine bay. Left the cable disconnected since I'm waiting on some new battery connectors to better handle the additional wires. ALso I just noticed I have the switch between settings, lol!

I've got these all tacked up, but need to confirm the spacing since this frame plate isn't one solid piece

Nah the stock one does what i need it to do and the money would be better spent on the truck.

Rattles drive me up the wall so i have to get rid of them.

the only problem with that is when your radio is loud enough that it actually creates rattles! ( my subwoofer days are behind me, but the memories and slight hearing loss will be with me forever:oops: )

    awesome!

Friend had a 93 Geo Metro with a single Rockford 12", then I had my 97 civic with dual 10" Rockford's which was promptly stolen along with all the other car audio I had installed. With insurance $$ I upgrade to Alpine stuff and rocked a 12" DVC sub in a custom built ( by me ) fiberglass enclosure that fit perfectly in the trunk. That car also had a ridiculously large rear spoiler ( literally split the rear window in half vision wise ) 18% black carbon tint on the rear ( 4 door ) and absolutely STOCK everything else

After some one tried to prybar my spoiler off the trunk in broad daylight ( while I was home!! ) I decided enough was enough and hug up my modding hat. Bought a boring car and died a little inside for the next 8 years while I drove it around doing boring things.

Thankfully I woke up and bought the Taco!

‘Tis a sad day today. After 12 years I am no longer a Tacoma owner. Some other man drove it away a few hours ago.
