So I sold the Taco and moved to Full size. @Man of Steel TRD definitely love all the interior space and the power of the twin snails.

It was tough to get rid of the taco, but we shared some good times.
    The new whip:

P.s. since I no longer own a taco, does that automatically qualify me for mod status? ;)

I think it has to be a Fiat product. I'm in for sure.

As well as a Tesla Model S with a RTT for that extra good range.

I think the turbos will make ok. It's the valvetrain I'd be worried about with the direct injection. :)

Wall mount wet/dry shop vac installed. Super excited about this thing. Getting old is weird.

I know that I have harped on you guys about keeping a lookout for timing cover leaks on your 3rd gens. Gonna do it again.

Today I sold my blacked out headlights and installed them on one of my really old friends new to him 2017 Tacoma. He just bought it 6 months ago. As soon as he pulled into my garage I could smell burning oil. Rolled under it and I'm not even sure that he had any oil left in his truck. Caked on old oil all over the frame and all over the steering rack.

    Lights turned out great though!!

Everyone, do me a favor with the V6 3rd gen. Roll under it and make sure there is no oil on the bottom of your power steering pump or anywhere below that.

Now I didn't say that. I just worry about that since I keep seeing this it is more widespread than is known. But who knows, maybe two long time buddies with two different year trucks with the same issue is a "normal characteristic of the vehicle"

Seeing the massive pile of discarded Ecoboost V6s behind the parts department of the local Ford dealer every time I'd stop by was enough to keep me from staying with Ford.

More updates on the sliders! Got the cross bars mounted today, and threw some more weight on for shits and giggles.

holding strong! If any of you have interest in them or questions, my buddy is building the jig and plans to hit the market.

Will put together a full thread when done!

My stock battery bit the dust on me today after 2 summers. Used my jump box and picked up a 5-year rebranded Northstar 27F AGM from Batteries Plus. Going to grab a 2nd Gen tray tomorrow which fits the 27F from my recollection. Looking at new terminals and tie down as well. Any suggestions other than the SDHQ kit?
