    Surprisingly not half as bad as last year, but they've also closed all the national forests in the state for the last several weeks.

    there is a ton of public BLM land a mile from the home where I grew up, lots of fun sand wheelin. Also flat tire olympics from people burning trash/pallets at their desert parties

    I mean... nobody should be burning anything without a protective ring of some sort. Even if nails are leftover, they wouldn't leave the barrier.
    I did have like 3 groups of people come over though. I assumed it was for their backyards

    I saved our xmas tree from last year and cut it up for firewood, burned way better than most of the shit you buy from stores. This year I think I'm going to go around the neighborhood in my truck and pick up people's dead xmas trees off the side of the road and stock up.

    yeah just the trunk. One 7'ish ft tree is about a bundle of firewood and probably burns twice as long as the crap you get in most stores.

    I believe it. Honestly 2x4s are pretty great too, not as good a smell though
    I burnt my freshly cut down bougainvillea using dry 2x4s as a starter because it wouldn't fit in the trash can... that was...interesting..
