I am semi-new to the forum. While browsing I've seen posts where people are finding the Diamondback bed covers used for $600-$800. Do they pop up on TacomaWorld buy/sell/trade often at these prices?

Thanks! I was assuming that was the case. After researching it looks like the warranty is only valid for the original purchaser as well, does not transfer.

I wouldn't expect to need the warranty.

You will find them pop up more on craigs and FB market. It is usually the older guys who are changing to camper shell setups. I’ve seen them go for ~$800-$1000.

Thanks, I have been keeping a lookout. I have one on local craigslist now, listed for $1500.

I’ve got an HD I’ll part with for $1700. Includes extra struts, they are different strengths and lengths. I used a longer one on the front to make it open at 90 degrees. It also has the mini headache rack (not currently on). Local pickup

And the purpose of your post was to get around the BST rules here on TacomaWorld?

Nope, not at all. As you see I asked a legitimate question. When I said I have one listed, I meant there is one listed. I guess it is the way you interpreted it. I do not own one, I am looking for one and figured I would ask the community to see how often they pop up.

Sorry but No, I’m not trying to circumnavigate the BST rules. I have bought and sold a few things there. I’m actually gonna post it there soon, I just haven’t taken any pics yet. I think I was just inspired by the “usually a few old guys looking to go to a topper”. Which is sorta me.

Fair enough, was just going by your statement, I have one on Craigslsit right now, listed for $1500

Perhaps if you wrote, there's one on Craigslist right now that I'm looking at, it wouldn't have sounded like you were the Craigslist seller.

Now back to your original post, if you find a Diamondback cover for $600 run don't walk to buy it. That is if its not damaged, missing parts or is a scam ad.

Sure someone could be moving and need the cover gone that weekend, but that is rare for such an expensive cover.

    Best of luck.

I would be surprised to see a cover priced that low unless damaged? I have the SE and it's a great cover for the security it offers. Looks good too!

I'd also suggest the bin 8 (which allows items to slide under it).
