That defeats the purpose of the 4x4/2x4 and curb test…

Agreed, but some people forget that you can use it with CC

I had the update done yesterday and it is absolutely a night and day difference!

The point of crawl control is not needing to use the throttle manually.

Gonna have mine done before long.
Have you noticed any improvement in drivability like the transmission shift and throttle?

    Stock for now
Found this thread so decided to check my 21 DCSB OR (build date 4/21) and sure enough, CC only works on flat ground. I had the same “malfunction” as others have described when trying to use CC uphill.

Whether in its lowest setting or highest the wheels should keep spinning regardless. I can go up steep dirt slick rock trail here and even if it can't continue up the wheels still spin and will dig it in. Is only when I apply the brake that the system stops. And that's on 25+ degrees grade mountain

I don’t think the TSB addresses any transmission issues, just the Crawl Control.

I think you’re partially correct, yes while you’re using crawl control you can use the accelerator, but the function is overridden until you lift your foot off the gas.

Shit I found on CL or EBAY that I could screw on.
Just a PSA: If your CC is not working, go get it fixed ASAP!
    Been watching this thread.
I have a '17 and I have used it for real 3 times. On rocky wet inclines. It is awesome. Each time, the only thing I saw through the windshield was sky.
Push the button, turn the knob all the way, steer your way to the top. If you can get past all the noises it makes, the process is quite uneventful.

I had the TSB-0045-21 done today and it indeed fixed the issue! In all my excitement that it worked, I left the parking lot and remembered I only tried it on 1. Oh well. It started the same way as before, pauses a little bit but instead of failing it powers right on over!!

The drivability TSB for the transmission is 0092-20. It did help some as well.

Tried mine today for the first time. So with the CC 4x4 board test, it’s a total “Fail”?, if I had to breathe on the accelerator like once to get it to start the climb over the boards?

If you had to use the accelerator I'd say that's a fail. After the update you'll probably be looking for the brake pedal.

    Thanks for the feedback.

Going in for the next oil change in November. So I just ask my service advisor to perform T-SB-0045-21?

This update worked. First mine didn't work going up a small hill in sand and now it works without pressing the gas.
