Jeezzz, a dealer that had emailed way prior to the dealer I have a $1000 deposit just contacted me...they're like it's a 12-18m wait for a 2022 order...hope they're just covering themselves. My current dealer thinks 4-6ish.

By the temp vin it was suppose to be built the 36th week of this year. Which was last week. Depending on any set backs means it’s probably close to being built. Definitely not in transit if it doesn’t have a permanent VIN. I don’t think there are many changes on the SR, SR5 so I’m not surprised by that. In all reality they should be able to be building most trims if they didn’t make any major changes, I know the Trail Edition and Pro are the only two with changes that I can think of that might/might not be delayed

Toyota still hasn’t released them on their site yet either. Who knows

I received a promo email from Toyota last night. Had Tacoma in the subject line. I got excited and thought it was promoting the official launch of the 22’s online.

opened it up to see it was all about the 21’s lol.

Anyone getting any time estimates on their requests?

Also, anyone know of the 2022 packages contain all the same upgrades? Specifically the off-road premium or advanced tech packages.

Auto 4x4 clicked every option box, aside from all the pointless accessories that we can buy aftermarket. HBU?

I don't plan to upgrade anytime soon. Wind Chill Pearl is my favorite tacoma color and its the rarest too. So far I've only counted 22 members who have it

Texted my salesman today, so far no 2022 allocation yet. I'm in northeast Ohio. Put my deposit down 7/16.

One major change would be Lunar Rock (to all trims but the limited) and BCM now being available.

    Hi,
    New used 2020 owner here.
I was on the search for a new Tacoma TRD Sport, Access Cab, 6 Speed manual Transmission, Cement Gray, which I couldn't find, so I asked about ordering one from at least a couple of dealers, and they all told me that your can't order from Toyota.
    So how could you?
    Thanks!
