If by bridge you mean “a middle man”, then yes. Don’t lose that repeater remote- it’s the master if you ever need to relearn your home link or another vehicle. what mirror do you have? Is it the newest version (at least back in 18) I think 5? I know for a fact that will work on these newer openers because mine programmed fine and I have the newest version jackshaft. What model opener did you get? Did you go liftmaster or diy?

I feel it’s definitely something we should be able to update (home link) when newest versions come out, even for a fee like map updates at least.

My original mirror was just an autodim OEM mirror. I replaced it with I believe Gen 3 Homelink mirror. It worked fine with the old garage opener. Newer opener was newer technology, so didn't work. The bridge fixed the issue.

Mine is pretty fast. Oil change, tire rotation I was in and out in under an hour. When I had the fuel pump recall done I dropped it off and had my wrap buddy pick me up and I was gonna hang out with him the rest out the day but 2 hours later I got a text saying she was ready.

Update, used a large steel clamp and it's solid as can be, more difficult to steal as well. 20210917_071744.jpg

For a second there I thought he had put a cellular blind in the back window of his truck. Never mind, I see it.

So is that whole tank cantilevered out and only supported by the strap? Is the tank not resting on anything? If not, that thing will bounce under it's own weight and stretch that strap. I'd make sure the tank is sitting on something and the strap only keeps it from sliding around. And if anything, you want the strap under the weld bead so when it does stretch, it doesn't just slip and fall straight out.

Bwahaha that about what I thought when I looked at it after I took it. Need to break down and do that one of these days. That and the mirror turn signals.

It's on a hook like bracket we made, supported and won't slip down and doesn't bounce
