Does Toyota sell a kit or is it aftermarket?? Thanks I am always hitting corn stubble etc with my front end. These may not be a bad idea for me.

Corn stubble? You rippin her through the corn fields? I’d love to try that, just don’t want the farmer and/or the cops waiting for me when I come out.
Just got the sens design, will put them on soon. They were $85US when I ordered end of August.
Edit: sns design. (*&$#@ auto correct!)

Are these actually useful or just a gimmick? What kind of offroading really throws stuff up at those sensors?

How hard or expensive is it to just change a broken one on the Tacoma? On other vehicles it's only been a half hour and $30 to do it.

20210917_131103.jpg Just so you know, I just finished installing the sns ABS protectors.
Last one was the rear passenger, and it’s upside down.
Just contacted SNS about this, waiting for a reply.

    Hi Marc,

Yes, this is a universal kit and the Tacoma is the only vehicle of the Toyota from 2007-2022 that has a flipped bracket due the sensor being on the rear instead of the front. Normally you do not need it to protect a rear facing abs guard we only recommend protecting forward facing abs/speed sensor.

Our kit fits Tundra, fj cruiser, rav4, land cruiser, 4runner, highlander, lexus gx460, gx470, lexus land cruiser.

Which is one reason its hard to change 1 piece to accommodate 1 vehicle.

Hopefully that answers your questions. Also, we provide 2 types of bolts length to accommodate all these vehicles type as well.

    Best Regards,
    Sam Nguyen-Sop

Guys .. This is cheap insurance. I have been off-road with no issues, but driving home on the highway late the other night and a Possum comes out from the right just as I am passing … oh well keep her straight and move on right? Unfortunately the little fucker wrapped around my axle and broke the ABS cable at the hub. The dash lights up like a Xmas tree and I had to limp home another 20 miles. Go to dealer next day and not covered on warranty and $500 to reset everything and replace cable. Looking at the damage, it was all in the hub on a cheap plastic connector - the cable help up fine. Just purchased a pair of Black Anodized SNS.
