Hi all would like to know which brand do you use or experienced for floor mats or floor pans they are called.
I live in Canada so lots of salt and want the best protection available for the carpets/floors in my new Taco of course at a affordable price. Thanks

Yes, I was looking at some of those and so many other ones. Just fishing around to see if there are more options and the pros and cons of the different brands.

The OEM mats wore out after a year. I went with Husky.

I have the OEM all weather mats. So far so good, but they've only been in for 3 months and I live in south Florida, so mostly dealing with water and sand. I like them, great fit.

I was looking at both Weather tech and Husky as they seem to go higher on sides than the others and over the sill plates which makes more able to protect from over spills etc.

I have does too but I know comes Winter they will get messy with wet snow and salt and afraid to ruin carpets around the mats as they do not cover the whole floor.I want something high to avoid that.

Idk what type of toyota mats the dealer gave you, but my toyota liner/ mats, and the door sill protectors are doing fine after a 1 1/2 years.

Weathertech makes good products. I have their bug & stone deflector on my truck and have used their mats in other vehicle. Pricey, but quality stuff.

Top of the line Husky X-act if you're willing to drop the coin.

I was not so willing, I went with Gator liners. They still protect the interior like none other, they're just... Plastic.

No complaints on them though. They do a good job.

I have a MT and my heel wore a hole through the OEM all weather mat.

My experience with Weathertech mats is that they are super slick especially if you have wet shoes. Maybe that was an early on issue for them and they have fixed that aspect of their product; I don't know?

PS: my truck came with the OEM all weather mats and they do what they were designed to do; trap water and dirt!

I had OEM all weather mats in my 4Runner for 4 years and they were amazing, so I went with OEM again in my new Tacoma.

I'm using Husky in my 4Runner and Weathertech in my Tacoma. Both have been fine.

Husky x-act are the best IMO. I had weathertechs in my previous Tacoma. They were nice but they curl up on the edges after a while. The x-acts are more heavy rubber, I like them much better.

I had husky liners in my 2001 tundra since nearly new. They fit an held up great, but not cheap. I'm hoping these toyota ones are nearly as good...at least they were cheaper.
