Brake Override Malfunction / New Tail Lights

Hey guys,

So I installed some new tail lights on my 2021 Tacoma Off-Road that I ordered from TacomaBeast.

Though they look pretty cool, I’m getting indicator lights stating “brake override malfunction” and “check charging system.”

not only that, my truck won’t start because the brake pedal is disabled.

I’ve tried changing out the “stop” sensor, jumping the battery, and disconnecting the battery to try to reset the codes but nothing has worked.

any ideas here?

 

Put the stock lights back in and see if the problem goes away.
If it does send that crap back to Tacoma Beast.

 

Take out the taillights and put the originals back in if the problem goes away then there is a sort in the new lights. Contact the seller if that the case.

 

Remember Utah and do not support TB.
