I was camping/fishing with my boss and his teenage son one time. We’re sitting around shooting the shit when the son spots an armadillo and takes off after it.
He yelled at me to come help him catch it. We chased the little shit around for awhile then I asked him “What are you gonna do with it if we catch it?”
He said “Eat it”
I went back to camp. No thanks. I don’t eat rodents.

 

So apparently my local utility company is going around my 'hood and replacing our power poles. The one that feeds our house, and my 3 closest neighbors, is in our yard, close to the fence line. A contracting company came out earlier this week to let us know they needed access to our yard to dig/drill the hole for the new pole, and the new pole will be installed later next week. So all day today I got to watch these 3 guys trying to drill the hole. Our ground is mainly hard packed dirt, but there can be a fair bit of granite as well, since I live in the Sierra Nevada foothills. The Bobcat and auger bit didn't do it all, they had to resort to a jack hammer for an hour or so at one point. Blue arrow indicates the existing pole that is being replaced.

 

Now there’s a crazy part of Florida
I didn’t want to see it either, but can’t undo it now.
This old dude, about 6’ with a 12” shlong in a banana hamick g sting and a big floppy hat walked past us eating breakfast. Then kept seeing him at different places all night.
