My front wheel tire setup fits about perfectly without chopping anything serious. Spacers would mean i gotta chop stuff and wheel bearing longevity cut in half and two more spacers to deal with. I'd rather avoid that if i could

Are you long travel up front w/ glass or some other setup? I gotta take you word for fitment, but I don't believe the "appreciable decrease in bearing life" cult on here at all though. Been running spacers on my daily for years and even at 180k they are perfect. Only guys I've seen that replace wheel bearings are in corrosive environments and spacers aren't a factor in their cases.

Yes it has the same effect and I have tested it on my truck as well as others. But again driver preference plays a part here. We all like a different feel out of our trucks.
Below is a truck that is virtually identical to mine. My truck rotates much easier. He is running a narrower axle than mine and swapped to a 9" that was narrower than his t100 he swapped from. He rolled the truck on day 1 with the 9" because it grabbed in a corner more than used to.

mid travel all round n 33s, nothing crazy but with caster maxed it fits perfect and handles well so i dun wanna screw with it too much. Seemed like the wheel bearings went pretty quick last time i had the spacers on.
Although LT front could be a good solution too. I don't need it at all and really don't need to spend dough like that but it sure would fix my problem here

You mean new factory wheel bearings went quick compared to other new factory bearings without spacers?

Shit I just changed my wheel bearings for the first time at $120k miles and had wheel spacers and tons of abuse since 15k miles. Well tons of abuse since 17 miles, the spacers waited until 15k

lucky. Got to 75k ish on factory set, to 110k ish on second set(spacers for 20k of that). Going strong at 160k on current set. Although street parked and daily driven on nj roads probably makes a huge difference

Having crazy good valving probably also helps extend the lifetime of parts like that too

Valving only started getting that dialed in the last 30k miles or so. But thanks lol. All that aside I personally feel no significant additional stress added to the bearings when adding wheel spacers. Certainly no more than wheels with less back spacing

Thoughts: Bypasses on a daily, good or bad idea? I hear they are loud af.
What's the life span on them compared to a normal smoothie with RR?

Pros: better tuning than a smooth body, but if you're mostly streeting your truck you might not notice the advantages as frequently

Cons: cleaning all the chicks off your truck

bingo. Never seen socal guys going through bearings as you're describing with or without spacers, but plenty of NE and similar environment trucks needing them with or without.

So the original bearings were with spacers or not?

They are only loud if they are tied into a cab cage. Just a bed cage or front shock towers and they’re quieter than dirty uniballs

Depends on who you ask. King bypass adjusters are known to be loud. To what extent that is an issue is up to the user. My truck is loud regardless so idk how much it would matter.

Service intervals are the same. More parts in a bypass during maintenance, etc. The real question is what kind of wheeling do you primarily do?

Def is up to the user. I have king bypasses front/rear and its never bothered me. The sounds does throw me off at times and I have to realize its the bypasses.

Slow Crawling. But I'm trying to build the truck up as a fun all-rounder so I can have fun wherever I go, whether I'm hitting whoops at speed or crawling on rocks or just camping while being a fun daily.
